Our hotel is three minutes from the "Circolo Grande Ranch" of San Francesco al Campo, a horse-riding school with starting-up and "team penning" courses. "Team penning" is the equestrian sport that was inspired by everyday ranch work.
In the green oasis of the Park "La Mandria", only 15 minutes from our hotel, you'll find two among the most exclusive golf clubs in Italy, which have hosted national and international games.
"Il Circolo Golf Torino - La Mandria" is more ancient. Its first 18 holes course was designed in 1956 by the English architect John Morrison. Nowadays the holes are 36, divided into two courses: the "blue" one and the "red" one, both with a par of 72. It has also a 9 holes pitch-and-putt course for those who love short game and putting green.
The "Royal Park Golf - I Roveri" opened in 1971. Surrounded by the relaxing nature of the "Parco La Mandria", it offers two 18 holes courses. The first one, designed by architect Robert Trent Jones Senior, is intended for players who are very good at game strategy. Architect Michael Hurdzan, one of the most renowned golf field designers in the world, designed the second one. It has also a driving range with 30 synthetic grass posts and 6 indoor posts.
