Venaria Reale Royal Palace
In the outskirts of Turin you can admire one of the greatest Mansions of the House of Savoy in Piedmont.
At the edge of the woods of the "Gran Paese", Savoy's favourite hunting ground, there soars the Royal Palace of Venaria Reale, an impressive suite of halls, galleries and apartments, gardens, fountains and water shows.
The 17th century' atmospheres come to life again in the Great Gallery, as does court life in the multimedia frescoes created by the film director Peter Greenaway, and in the royal apartments. The 18th century revives along the parade route of the Kings' Palace. You can admire the endless perspectives of the "Rondò" of the Seasons and of the "Garden of Flowers", or you can walk along the Palace alleys and in its endless gardens.
