La Mandria Park
La Mandria Park is the ancient hunting ground of the House of Savoy. It's located in the surroundings of Turin and extends over an area going from the gardens of the Palace of Venaria Reale to the Alps' slopes.
It's the biggest fenced park in Italy and the second in Europe. You can explore its 3000 hectares by foot, on horseback, in a coach, bike or with the park guides.
In La Mandria you'll find both trekking and Nordic walking routes. The Park is a home for deer, fallow deer, wild-pigs, foxes and hares that live there wild or semi wild. You can spend a whole day in touch with nature or exploring the Castel of La Mandria, a Savoy's Mansion of the second half of the 19th century that UNESCO has recognised as a heritage of Mankind.
